Telnet Sessions timeout

We run an app that opens telnet sessions on devices that reside on the otherside of our pix to read data from them. The telnet sessions may be idle for extended periods of time (8 to 10 hours). I'm having problems with these telnet sessions being terminated during the night. I've tried extending the timeout conn and xlate anywhere from 8 to 24 hours and it doesn't seem to have an affect. I've read that if you change the timeout conn to 0:00:00 it won't terminate your connection but haven't tried it yet. Any ideas what I could look at or change to keep them from terminating.

Re: Telnet Sessions timeout

Well, as you already mentioned, extending conn/xlate timeout can help if you know the max time your sessions stay idle, if not, then, you can use timeout conn to 0:0:0 for never timing out a connection.

Hope that helps
