Terminate ipsec tunnel to HSRP Address

Hello,

All the configurations that i have read to Cisco Site is to terminate the ipsec tunnel in the HSRP address of the outside interface of the router.My problem is that i have serial interface for outside interface i tried to terminate the ipsec tunnle in the HSRP address of the inside Fast ethernet interface but it doesn't work.

Any help?

Are you terminating the tunnel on a Router or a PIX ? If a router you can terminate on a HSRP address but will require specific IOS .Mail me at mike.briggs@cw.com and I'll find out the IOS you require.

Sorry..Just re-read your post and you state it is a Router ! This URL has all the info you require and I used this IOS last year and it worked a treat !
