Tftp from remote server

Hi,

I configured a ssh access to Pix 506e and it works.

When i connect with ssh to Pix from remote pc i don't be able to save configuration Pix with Tftp.

To ssh console i typed: write net ipremotepc:config.txt but it didn't work.

Why?

Which troubleshooting procedures have you followed? Is there any other fw between the PIX and your PC? Or is there a personal fw in your PC? Have you tested your tftp server with other client? Have you verified the tftp server configuration? Have you created the file on the tftp server *before* trying to write the config from the pix? (Some tftp servers require this)

Is Pix be able to save configuration with tftp from outside interface?

Yes you should be able to tftp to a server on the outside. I have 6 PIXs doing this. Make sure that if the tftp server you are using if behind another firewall allow the tftp port through to it.
