Threat Response & E-Mail Notification

I have to implement the new Cisco Threat Response 2.0

Seems to work fine in the meantime . But now I want to be notified by e-mail whenever there is critical alarm.

Does anybody know how to do that?

Thanks a lot

Re: Threat Response & E-Mail Notification

I don't belive that Threat Response has email notiifcations in version 2.0.

Email notifications are currently only supported with Security Monitor (part of VMS). You will need to have both ThreatResponse and Security Monitor receive events from the sensor and use Security Monitor to send out the email notifications.

I will, however, check with the engineers to verify that it is not supported in Threat Response.

Re: Threat Response & E-Mail Notification

I found out: there is no E-mail notification out of Threat Response. I only can do that with SNMP traps to a SNMP server and send out e-mails there.

Thats really bad.

Yes I can do that with Security Monitor. But how can I feed SecMon with the information provided by Threat Response? Without that its like SPAM our own e-mail account.

Is there any cisco developer out there that can solve that problem in the next release?!

Please help!!!

Thanks Markus
