Traceroute - PIX Interface never reply.

The PIX is cofigured with no nat-control.

When traceroute/tracert from PC to the server behind the PIX. The server reply but the missing part is the PIX interface do not reply at all. it just passd thru.

How to get PIX interface respond to the traceroute. Without PIX interfce replay to the traroute we are unable to confirm which interface was the use to reach destination.

Hi,

When a traceroute is issued from the outside, the PIX does not display its own interface IP address nor does it display the IP addresses of the inside networks. The destinaton address is displayed multiple times for each internal hop.
