transparent tunneling with vpn client and cisco 837

Hi, I'm trying to connect with a vpn client 4.0.2 that is behind an 837 adsl router. Althouh the ipsec connections gets stablished, there's no routing between the vpn client and the ipsec peer network.

Diagram:

VPN CLIENT=192.168.127.X

ADSL ROUTER=192.168.0.100 (cisco 837)

|IPSEC

|TUNNEL

REMOTE NETWORK=192.168.125.0 (cisco 837 ipsec hub)

The connection works well if I use a dialup ppp connection between the vpn client and the peer network.

NOTE: I'm transporting ipsec over udp, the route-map is avoiding PAT between peer ipsec networks.

Hi Jordi,

Check with your ISP if they are off late blocking ESP.
