UDP IPSec encapsulation to PIX

Hi

I have an XP client running CS VPN Client 3.5.1.c-k9 connecting through a Cisco 827 doing PAT to a PIX Firewall running 6.1(3)

The VPN connects but no traffic is passed. When I sniff the client end of the newtork I am still sending RAW protocol 50 ESP packets. Is there anyway to encapsulate these in UDP so they can pass through the NAT device. I have clicked the check box in the client for UDP IPSec encapsulation but it still sends ESP packets. I feel maybe something on the PIX needs configuring?

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Nick

Re: UDP IPSec encapsulation to PIX

I believe that it is not possible to do UDP IPSec encapsulation to a PIX and that we need a VPN concentrator. If anyone knows different please let me know.

Thanks

Re: UDP IPSec encapsulation to PIX

I was looking for the very thing a while ago. I don't believe it is supported on the PIX. Client supports it but not the PIX.

Anyone know when it might be supported on the PIX?
