unable to load module d:\cisco ids\console\sndec.dll

Hi,

I am facing some problem with HIDS Consol server. In consol server only 2 services are running. It doesnt show Entercept Server Service.

When i tired on different PC it shows all the 3 services.

I am using hids version 2.01

When i restarted the server it gave me this error "unable to load module d:\cisco ids\console\sndec.dll "

What could be the reason behind this. I even tried hids 2.5 version. result is same it didnt show Entercept server service.

I am not sure if this could possibly be a bug. You could however check using the Bug Toolkit. You could try reinstalling version 2.5.3. might work.
