Unable to remove the multiple svi command under the MSFC

Good Day All,

I am trying to work out how to configure a pair of FWSMs in two 6509s connected by an Etherchannel trunk.

I believe that i need to remove the multiple vlan interfaces command on the router because right now... it seems that the firewall is bypassed.

When i try to do this; i get the following error.... any ideas?

No more than one SVI is allowed if multiple-vlan-interfaces is disabled, command rejected.

any help is most appreciated.

Good day all,

I had enabled allow multiple SVIs and had an SVI on the switch that bypassed the firewall. I remvoved the offending SVI and it is all fine now.

just putting the post up in case someone else sees the same problem.
