Upgrade of Cisco secure from 5.3(3) to 6.2(2) on Failover PIX 520
We have PIX 520 running in failover fashion. Both have 5.3(3) running on then. I want to upgrade to 6.2(2). Can anyone suggest me the best route to achieve this and plus what are the factors I need to keep in mind functionality wise for version differnce from 5.3(3) to 6.2(2) or it should be pretty much just loading the new IOS and everything runs as before.
There's a specific link in there for upgrading failover pairs and the correct procedure to do it. Keep in mind you will have a very short downtime when you do this, simply because the two PIX's won't run in failover mode with different SW versions, so there has to be one point where one comes online while the other is powered off, no way around it unfortunately.
