Upgrading a PIX classic

I´m trying to upgrade a pix classic.

These are my doubts:

1. Do I have to do the following "For PIX releases earlier than 4.1.x, upgrades must be performed in major releases. For example, you must upgrade from PIX 4.0.x to 4.1.x., then from 4.1.x to 4.2.x, and so on."

2. Is it possible to upgrade to ver 5.2.9?

3. If so. I have pix529.bin & bh526.bin. I have tried to create a bootloader disk using rawrite and bh526.bin, but after rawrite has run, the 1.44" disk continues empty. Why? I have done quite a bit of searching and cannot find anymore info.

Thanks & regards

Fernando

Hi,

Answers as follows

1.. No, you don't need to upgrade like that.

2.. Not possible, 5.1.4 is the most you can go

3.. Related to Q2 but rawrite should write up the boothelper on the disk.

Thanks

Nadeem

Thank you

Hi "nkhawaja",

Version 5.1.4 does not seem to be available. Can you help?

Regards

Fernando
