upgrading pix 6.3(3) to 7.0(4)

Does anyone have trouble telneting to pix after upgrading software? Configuration is still correct, the pix can ping the server (10.98.0.X) where telnet is allowed. Also, another server running snmp (10.98.0.X) cannot find the pix either. Both devices worked before upgrade. Any thoughts?

Hi,

Just wondering, are you running in multi-mode or single-mode? If you're running in multi-mode and you enabled telnet on non-admin context then you'll only be able to telnet to that particular context from the interfaces that are allocated to that context and not to the whole PIX...Just a thought.

Thanks for the response. I am trying to telnet to the same interface I was before the software was upgraded. The config has not changed. Is multi-mode referring to interfaces?
