User authentication and 3005 concentrator configuration

I have a quick question concerning the configuration of the 3000 series of VPN concentrator.

If an external database is used for authentication (ie Active Directory), is it possible to restrict which users can establish a VPN connection by employing a list of accounts defined locally on the concentratator.

My interpretation of the documentation leads me to believe that this is not possible and that configuration of LDAP authorization is required to limit which users can establish a VPN connection.

tia.

Re: User authentication and 3005 concentrator configuration

You can configure the VPN 3000 Concentrator PPTP with Local Authentication on the VPN concentrator.
