When i do a "show logging" command in my Cisco Pix Firewall(6.3), I am able to see the below message,

605005: Login permitted from x.x.x.x/33652 to eth1:y.y.y.y/telnet for user ""

In the above message why the username is not been printed ?

Is there is TACAS/AAA authentaication configured ?

I don't use a Radius Server. Let me know the steps to find out what type of authentication is configured ?

does your config have "

aaa authentication telnet console TACACS+|RADIUS|LOCAL "?

No. I have "aaa authentication ssh console LOCAL" Seems its enabled for "ssh". Tried logging with ssh and the username is printed. Need to enable for telnet too.

Thanks for the help extended.
