Using AOL for VPN to 3005 concentrator

I am trying to use AOL 5.0 for a VPN connection to a 3005. The connection appears to complete correctly but I have no access to my internal network. The 3005 shows that I am connected. If I try to do a 'net use' after getting connected, I get a message that I am not logged on. If I try to connect to Outlook, I am presented a logon box. Everything works fine from a different client PC not using AOL so I think the 3005 is configured properly. I am using version 2.5.2 of the VPN client software. Are there known issues with AOL 5.0 or something different I have to configure on my client PC? I am using W98 on my client.

I’d guess that AOL put it’s own IP stack into Windows. You might want to start off by comparing the properties of the machine that works with the one that doesn’t. Be sure to let us know if you get it working.
