can remarks be added to the config file, I swear I have seen them somewhere. I have looked on the command documentation, but to no avail.
any help would be appreciated

Nope, no such functionality in 6.2(2). Though not exactly what you said, perhaps this is what you are referring to:

New feature in 6.3 for adding comments to ACL's.
