I have some users that need to be assigned the same IP every time they VPN into the company. What is the best and easiest way to do this and is there a documnet available that would be of help?

Thanks,

Hi,

then you have couple of choices:

1. Define a new VPN Group and assign this user only that group and define an IP Pool only to this group. This does not scale very well. For example, if you have 1000+ users, then you need to create 1000+ Groups.

2. If you are using Radius to authenticate the users, then you can assign a static IP Address to this specific user from the AAA Server. Please refer the below URL for details. Look under RADIUS Support for User Profiles.

Let me know if it helps.
