VPN 3.x client to IOS with NAT on BOTH sides

Just wondering if the VPN client over NAT feature will work to an IOS termination point. I seem to remember a post saying no, so if not, when will this feature be available that works like the 3015 concentrator?

Thanks,

Aaron

Re: VPN 3.x client to IOS with NAT on BOTH sides

The IPSec thru nat (ie either udp or tcp encapsulation same as in VPN3K) is not yet available in IOS. It is still worked on, but the projected release dates

is still being worked out, maybe it would be best to query your local cisco account team, who might be able to provide you with projection.

Does this mean it is still not possible to setup a VPN connection through the VPN Client 3.x from a remote office / worker (e.g. Notebook user with Windows XP) to for example a Cisco 1710/1720, where you have defined a configuration with NAT because the customer only has 1 Global IP address availble?
