VPN 3000 won't accept MS CA Certificate

We have a VPN 3005 Concentrator onto which we're trying to install the root certificate from our Windows 2000 Root CA. Unfortunatley the installation of the certificate fails with:

Error installing trusted certificate: Unable to install trusted certificate

The really strange thing is that I can successfully install a CA certificate from our Subordinate CA without problems.

The key size of the certificates is 512bytes. We're on Software Version 4.7

Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Stuart,

Are you trying the SCEP or PKCS (manual process)?

If you are trying SCEP, try PKCS and see what happens.
