VPN 4.8.02.0010 returns reason 440 - Connection terminated by client

We have a few users where we just installed VPN Client 4.8.02.0010 on XP2.

When trying to connect they do not get the logon prompt but instead get an error message saying 'Reason 440: Secure VPN Connection terminated by client'.

Any suggestions on what might be missing?

check group name and password on the clients
