Apologies of this has been answered before somewhere ..
Does anyone know the approximate bandwidth requirements of the 4.8 client ? Basically I have a dedicated 7Mb internet connection and need to know how many concurrent IPSEC VPN users I can accomodate before needing to increase the pipe.
Kind Regards,
Stuart

Hi Stuart,
The IPSEC adds little overhead.
Think of the requirments as plain traffic and add 10% for IPSEC.
The user look and feel connecting to enterprise is ok with 128Kbps. That will accomodate about 50 users.
If oyur security policies allows it, enable split tunneling so that user Internet traffic will not reach your network, saving bandwidth.
Please rate if this helped.

Daniel

Many thanks Daniel,
I had been working on the heavy side (of 128Kbps per session) so was guessing at 50 users. Just could'nt find any supporting documentation anywhere ! Split-tunneling is enabled already but in some cases has been causing random routing issues so I may not be able to keep it in.
Regards & thanks again,
Stuart
