VPN 403 errors Vista using v5.0.00.0340-MSI

I used prf's from the XP 4.03 version (new vista install) and recieve the follwoing error on the Vista box when trying to connect:

Following steps may help you.

a) Go to start/run/msconfig/ Selective startup and take out startup items out, go to the tab "Services" and put a checkmark on the "hide all microsoft services" uncheck the options that came up. reboot and try again.

b)Try removing the client (without the startup items and services) and reinstall.
