vpn auth fails

Hi All,

I had to set up a new vpn group on my asa 5510 box. I created the new tunnel group with a new pre-shared key. i also set up a new local user account. i tested this connection and it worked fine. well today, when i try to use it..it states "user authentication failed" with reason code 413. In the logs I see "DEL_REASON_WE_FAILED_AUTH". I am certain that the password is correct in the asa config and in the client config. what else could this be?

TIA,

R

Re: vpn auth fails

Check the username case-letter on the both ends(ASA & VPN client) since the username is case-sensitive
