Where are also looking into this, I have not been able to find anything on the CCO that mentions connectivity to other hardware sources! When I spoke to presales last week, they said it could not be done. However our client who has the Shiva believes it can be done! If I here something else I let you know.
I have completed this recently and it is fairly straight forward. I used pix v5.3 and shiva v6.81. just setup ipsec tunnels between the two and remember to create sa's at the shiva end for each of the networks you require access to. If you are really stuck I can mail you with sanitized configs
