I'm trying to establish a VPN between two networks that both use an internal (private) address block of 126.96.36.199/16. This can't be changed. Any advice on how to make this work. We've tried several things but still not working. Thanks
Try NAT and set-up the VPN tunnel. NAT is performed before the crypto map check. So translate both side's and set up the crypto acl to allow the NAT'ed IP. Work on the IPs as needed. You can also set up statics as needed.
I will try this. I didn't mention that I'm using a PIX 515 on my end and the other end is using a 3660 router. Not sure if this matters because I'm under the assumption that crypto has the same function no matter the device
