VPN cconnection

I have a pix 501 and I am trying to set up VPN with the 3000 client. I have followed a cisco tec document on the set up. When I try to connect I get a "Failed to establish a secure connection to the security gateway". I am unaware if what setting needs to be changed or added. Thanks.

(look at the LION pix config).

Make sure your ISP is not blocking isakmp (udp 500) and esp (tcp 50).

Also make sure yourv client ip address is on your own as the pix does not support ipsec clients that are behind PAT device.
