VPN Client 3.1

I'm using client ver. 3.1 to connect to a client on a Win2K box. While connected, I lose connection to my LAN completely, even with the Allow LAN Access option box checked. Is there some other options/settings that need to be set to have access to both the remote network and my LAN at the same time? Thanks for the help.

Re: VPN Client 3.1

My understanding is that you can either connect to the tunnel or to the LAN at a time and not to both. Please correct me if I am wrong here.

Re: VPN Client 3.1

Thanks for the response. I did a little more research and found out that this is a setting set on the vpn server. It can be changed to allow access to both a tunnel and a lan at once, but many businesses consider this an unnecessary security breach, and don't allow it.

Regards,

Mike
