VPN Client- bWindows XP Pro

Hello

Has anyone experienced the following issues when installing the vpn client. on XP Pro

When i install the Cisco vpn client (i have tried both 3.6.3b and 3.6.3c) the deterministic network enhancer (DNE) is installed into my network properties.

This appears to stop my network connections (LAN NIC and Wireless NIC) from working completely (i.e. the nics are recognised but there appears to be no network connectivity).

When i deinstall just the DNE my network connections spring back into life but of course then the vpn client doesn't work as it is missing a sub-system.

Any ideas

Re: VPN Client- bWindows XP Pro

Hi,

by default, client always on firewall blocks any connectivity to your machine, try turning it off, open client, go to options, uncheck the Always(ON) FW thing.

then try accessing ur machine, should be fine.

let us know, how it goes.

Thx
