I have a client, that recently loaded SBC/Ameritech DSL Software. He is using

PPoE client Enternet 300 ver 1.5B and Cisco VPN Client 4.0 for windowsThe user can connect to the Internet just fine. After installing the VPN Client, the PC will only boot to safe mode. The only recovery is to un-install the VPN client. HAs anyone seen this? Any Ideas?

PC Info:

Re: VPn Client crashes PC

Which windows is the OS ??(Windows 98, 2000 Server/Proffesional, NT, XPHome Edition or Proffesiona, ME, etc). If you have an access to the Cisco TAC, just escalate the problem and let them fix the version 4.0 of the client. I have problem also with VPN client v4.0. When installing it to a Windows 2000 (Server or Proffesional) with Service Pack 3 , the installation will hang without any progress, and if we click the cancel button, the installer will roll-back with a result of half-instalation.
