VPN Client disconnects other network objects

When we connect with the VPN Client the Novell and Windows Networking is not operational. When we disconnect the VPN everything works fine.

Re: VPN Client disconnects other network objects

Are you referring to the access to your local lan? It is normal to lose local lan access unless specifically allowed through configuration of the vpn itself.

If you are using the cisco vpn client you can check for local lan access. While connected to the vpn, select "status" -> "statistics" -> "route details" on the client. Local Lan routes are displayed on the left side, if there are none then your vpn is not configured for it.
