Re: vpn client for linux

Hi,

we try to connect the linux vpn client 3.6.1 to an VPN concentrator over LAN this ist working.

But over ISDN not!!!

We trace the connection over ethernet:

I don´t understand why the client doesen´t use encapsulation over tcp 10000.

We connfigure the client to do so.!!

Have you any idea!!!

Best regards

Uli

Re: vpn client for linux

Hi,

I am not to good in Linux but I had a case about this. The client works over lan and Modem but not ISDN. Kernel 2.2 used another accessmodel for using ISDN than kernel 2.4, but it there is a way to use the older model with kernel 2.4 and this should work. I never tried this.

Re: vpn client for linux

up to version 3.5 only async. ISDN is supported but not sync. like I4L. You can use an AVM ISDN card with CAPI interface, this works. Maybe later versions of the client software will support sync., too (I hope).
