I am very new to redhat so please accept my apology.

I am trying to install the vpn client on my redhat 9 box. When I run ./vpn_install it askes me what directory i want the binaries to be installed to and i leave it at the default, then it asks me if i want the service to start automatically and I say yes, then it asks me where the source for my kernel is located....can anyone help me figure out where my source code for my kernel is located on redhat 9??

Thanks for any help!

When prompted for the "Directory containing linux kernel source", Type

/usr/src/XXXX

where XXX is linux- where the kernel source has been installed.

For eg. /usr/src/linux-2.4 for Redhat Linux 7.x

All well and good, and correct. But, once you get past this point, and

compilation starts, there is a stream of errors. The first few are about

attempts to include a kernel header in a userland application. OK, really

just a warning. But then there are a bunch of errors about incomplete

data type definitions.

Anyone have any success at all with RedHat 9?
