Launching VPN Client 4.6.02 on a Win XP SP2 desktop I get error message 51 IPC Socket allocation failed. I've stopped and retarted services and get same error. I turned off windows firewall, rebooted and tried again, same error. I've uninstalled / reinstalled the client and get same message. Machine is also running McAfee Viruscan 8.0. Any ideas?

If the service do not start, try to start the service from service panel

Thanks, I tried that but it didn't resolve the problem. I did find a solution and it turns out to be XP's firewall. You need to open port 62515 as UDP. Instructions available at the following site.
