VPN client with pre-configured IP address.

For security purposes I need to be able to check historically who has connected via the VPN 3.6.3B to our PIX 525 6.2(2). Is there a way I can allocate IP addresses manually or can I use syslog/radius accounting logs to see which user was allocated which IP address?

Re: VPN client with pre-configured IP address.

Hi,

you can not manually assign IP addresses to client when connecting to a PIX FW, possible with VPN3K.

Accounting logs wouldn't show IP addresses being assigned(ie MODE-CONFIG) for pix vpn client connections.

Thanks,

Afaq
