VPN concentrator to VPN concentrator can't use hostnames

I have a VPN 3000 concentrator connected to another VPN 3000 concentrator using IPSec 3Des. I'm trying to use hostnames to connect to devices though the tunnel but the hostnames don't get resolved. If a ping the hostname Server1 I get "Unknown hostname". If I ping the IP address of Server1 I get a reply. If I ping the IP address with -a command it resolves the name and receives a reply. I have the local DNS server IP addresses entered into the concentrator.

Any idea on how to fix this?

I think the issue here is the reachability to the DNS, As long as a private filter is applied to public interface or instead of "drop" we change on "forward" option on public filter assigned to public interface, dns works just fine.

Do you have any routes defined on the concentrator? On the site to site route, check your default gateway and go one hop past your public interface.

Yes, I have routes defined on the concentrator. All routes currently point to our router that is connected to our WAN link.
