Hello,
I am having a problem with 1 user who is trying to connect to our VPN concentrator from her home network. She is using a wireless Linksys router and is able to successfully connect to the VPN when wired, however, is not able to do so when using the wireless connection. She can, however, access the internet without a problem.
She receives the error below in her log.
Any advice on how to correct would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance
Robin

Try looking at the output MTU size for the wireless interface. Possibly it is too small. The VPN tunnel will add more bytes to the packet size. Try pinging the remote VPN public address using
ping xx.xx.xx.xx -f -l 1500
This will set the packet size for 1500, then scale back the packet size down until the ping is successful. The value of the packet at the successful ping is the MTU size you need to set the VPN tunnel end points.....

Thank you,
I'll give it a try. I believe the MTU size is currently at 1300, is that ok?
