VPN connection from inside PIX to outside

I'm trying to establish a software VPN connection from inside our PIX firewall to an outside network. I can get the connection established, but can't seem to access any of the resources on the other side of the tunnel. I can get this to work successfully over an Internet dialup connection. Any ideas?

Re: VPN connection from inside PIX to outside

If you're doing NAT on the PIX, then you'll need to either set up a one-to-one translation (using the static) command for the inside host, or if you don't have a spare IP address, you'll have to set up your VPN client to use IPSec over NAT.

You don't mention what VPN client you're running, but most of them have the ability to encapsulate the IPSec packets into UDP or TCP packets that will then be NAT'd properly by any NAT device (in this case the PIX).
