I have a ASA 5510 that is using DSL for the Internet connection. At my home I use DSL also from Verizon to VPN into the ASA. The other day by accident the DSL modem was turned off while I had the VPN active. I tried to get back in when the DSL modem cam back up but I could not. I called the office and checked whether the VPN light was solid green on the ASA and it was.
How can the ASA keep the VPN open after the DSL comes down?
I have three available VPN simultaneous accesses allowed on the ASA, so why can't I get in.
This seems like a huge CISCO BUG because I can re-create it everytime by simply turning off the DSL modem from home.
