I am setting up a PIX 506e with VPN client access. I can get the connection to work fine but am having trouble after connected. On one machine, which has a public IP, I can open the VPN tunnel and then use Microsoft RDC to get into the servers. On the other machine, which is a private IP, I connect fine, and then when I try to use the RDC it times out. Both ends of the tunnel are the 192.168.0.IP addresses, which I am sure is causing trouble. How do you get around this problem without changing addresses at one end?
I guess it might have to do with the version of the VPN client software that you are using. RDC seemed to work fine with earlier version but I have heard of problems when used with recent versions of the VPN Client. I guess, the only alternative is to switch back to an older version.
