VPN Connects but do not receive Windows logon screen
I am doing some work at a company that recently setup a VPN 3000 device. Using the VPN client (V4.6) on a WIndows 2000 or XP Pro desktop I can connect to the VPN but I never receive a Windows logon screen. I can attempt to connect to resources and then receive a logon screen but my understanding is that I should receive the Windows logon screen immediately after the Cisco logon completes. The "Enable Start before Logon" box is checked. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Re: VPN Connects but do not receive Windows logon screen
if i understand correctly, the "start before logon" enables the pc to establish the remote vpn via the cisco vpn client before the user logon to that particular pc; not auto start establishing session to the head office windows servers.
