Multiple users connecting via Cisco VPN software client and some hardware clients.
All are working fine but one. Machine is Windows XP SP2. VPN client 4.6.01.0019. She tries to connect directly after bootup. The VPN Client will connect to the VPN concentrator and show her logged into it but I only see Bytes TX on the session screen. Bytes RX are at 0. If she waits about half an hour after she connects to the Internet then the connection will work. This happens at different times of the day and if she disconnects the internet and tries to log back in immediately she will get the same issue. Any help would be appreciated.
if it is only one client having an issue, i dont think it has to do with the VPN 3015 configuration.. we might have to look something on the client laptop or PC.. this might be some bug with the VPN client that she is using !!! can you ask her to update the client to the latest version 4.8.02.0010 and see if it resolves the issue ??
The issue was with the user's wireless router. Once we enabled encryption and connected to the router that way the user was able to get onto the system without issue. Problem may have been that someone else was utilizing all of the bandwidth when it was un-encrypted. Thank you for your reply.
