VPN/DHCP problem

Hi all,

I have a ASA 5510 configured for L2TP/IPSec VPN. The L2TP/IPSec VPN clients will get their address from a DHCP server on the inside network. This part works fine, the clients get an address. What they don't get is the DHCP options I specified for the DHCP scope (like domain, DNS servers etc).

I have tried using DHCPD global options but that does not work and within VPN policies I have to few options for what I want to do.

Can anyone tell me why?

Regards, Frank.

Hello,

this feature is not supported in DHCP-Relaying.Only IP, not DNS or other parameters.

few day ago,I opened a case at cisco with this response.
