VPN disconnects

We are using Cisco 3015 concentraors and 3.6 client on win2000 machines. Every so often we have tickets logged by users complaining of being disconneted while working on thier machines. The event logs in the 3015 are no help. The user can back on straight away but it is fustrating. Users are using either ADSL/Cable modem and it is not their line dropping as they have private machiens that are still connected to the internet.

Anyone else expereinced this and found the cause?

Thank you.

Re: VPN disconnects

We are having the same problem. We have treid all the 3.6.X clients and none of them seem to solve the problem. I have also done a number of sniffer traces and notice that the vpn client send a TCP RST packet to the concentrator. Why they do this I have no idea, but it seems to terminates the vpn connection. Peer timeout is 90 secs and keepalives is also set but it does not have an affect on the connection. The connection time of the vpn client varies, some times 1 hour and at other time 9 hours. Operating systems are mixed, Win2000 and XP.

Any ideas would be of some help.
