When I try to ping my peer IP its giving a latecny of 300ms and above, my VPN tunnel is also not getting establishing. What is the maximum latency through which a site-to-site VPN can be established?
If the peer IP is reachable and the VPN config is proper, then VPN tunnel should get established. You may try to prioritize the traffic to the vpn peer to reduce the latency. Following link may help you
