VPN? I understand how it works but how do I implement?
I know what a VPN is and how it works in the dial up area, but how do i implement it with different networks that all have broadband connections... ie. have the different LANs share files over the VPN with out usint Internet Explorer or dialing a ESP?
Re: VPN? I understand how it works but how do I implement?
Depending on what you have or what you are willing to buy, you are going to have to configure servers to make VPN tunnels or get hardware (VPN Concentrators, Routers or Firewalls) at each location to create the tunnels. It's a very broad question. You have to ask yourself how do I want to implement VPN? Hardware or Software etc? What can YOU make happen? There are so many ways to do it. Personally I would recommend a dedicated hardware solution but that's me..I don't know your budget or how many locations, users etc.
