Has ANYONE used Cisco VPN software successfully through Windows ICS? I understand from the documentation for VPN Client 3.1 that it can't be loaded on a machine running ICS but, it indicates it can be loaded on a client of the machine running ICS ... of course what it is not saying is it will work through the machine running ICS. When I try and run it from the client it stalls at 'negotiating security profiles' and after about 45 sec. it returns 'unable to contact host'... this machine works fine when I connect it directly to my dsl modem and use that adapter for VPN...???...(BTW I do have IPsec through NAT enable!
I have found that Sygate's Home Network will allow IPSEC passthru. I know a hardware solution would be better but, no more than I need access I could not justify shelling out the bucks for a router for now!
