VPN, IPSEC, 3DES, FW, IDS and Voice on the same router?

I have multiple routers: 72xx, 37xx, 36xx, 17xx in my network. Can I run all of the services listed and still have any kind of performance? What bandwidth can those support? Are there any documents discussing bandwidth and performance with those services?

Hi,

--Not all the paltforms that you have mentioned will support all the faetures simultaneously that you in an IOS image. This you can verify by going to the software center on CCO.

--The performance is a function of the CPU power and memory on the router. It is for the same reason 7200 is always better in performance as it is more powerful being a high end router then his counter parts given the same config and same type and amount of traffic is passing from all the routers

--It will be hard to find a document that effectively compares the performace of all the above routers with a certain feature set and I doubt if there is one. If will one will forward it to you
