VPN IPSEC on Catalyst 6500 ?

Hi,

Is it possible to configure VPN Ipsec on a Catalyst 6500 without any service module (VPN or FW) ? I know performance will be poor but I have only few tunnels to configure ...

If yes, Do I need a special featured IOS ? And which supervisor do support VPN Ipsec (SUP720, SUP32) ?
