VPN on one interface

Hi,

I have a lan on pubblic ip network. I would like to install a 1720 with only one interface (with a pubblic ip address) to make a vpn to a remote site. The vpn will let servers that are on the same ip pubblic network of the 1720 to connect to private remote site network.

I would like to know if there are no problem to make inbound and outbound vpn traffic on the same interface. Is this configuration work?

Thanks for help.

To say that there are no problems is asking for trouble :) But yea, this configuration does work, wish I had a link for you. Commonly referred to as a one-arm bandit config. Of course your servers on the 1720 side will need to have a default gateway of the 1720 or a route for the remote network directing to the 1720. I do believe the one thing you'll have to do is turn off ip redirects on that one interface.
