Hi,
I found when I browse the Internet via a VPN session. The text page comes out straight away, but the images take a long time.
Also I tested the VPN performance via FTP download a 2M file. The download time nearly doubled compared with the performance without VPN. At that time, network is healthy. The average ping response times are relative the same.
Is this a issue or normal?
Thanks,
Wei

I have seen this alot in deployments on the client itself I would recommend setting the mtu to something between 1265 and 1300. It should fix your problem.

If this doesn't fix it, keep in mind that encryption / decryption is (by design) an expensive process. Check the CPU on your routers while doing the FTP, etc. If it is high, you may just be running out out CPU.
